Safety e-learning
General safety training for hospital workers
Safety training for hospital staff — nurses, emergency-room nurses and doctors in operating rooms, oncology, orthopaedics and dental clinics: the main risks at work and the measures that prevent them — sharp objects, infections and blood-borne diseases, disinfectants and anaesthetic gases, latex allergy, radiation and lasers, moving patients and your back, slips and electricity, shifts and burnout. The training is based on the occupational-risk information sheets of the Institute for Safety and Hygiene.

How the worker takes it
- Gets a link by SMS, WhatsApp or e-mail and opens it on their phone — nothing to install.
- Goes through it step by step. Every topic is followed by a question, and every answer by an explanation. Nobody fails.
- Signs on screen and receives a work certificate with an expiry date. The safety officer sees on the dashboard who has finished and who has not.
The safety officer's declaration
To train by e-learning, the workplace's safety officer reviews the module and declares that it suits the workers, under regulation 3(a)(2) of the Organisation of Labour Inspection (Provision of Information and Training of Workers) Regulations. In LomdaSafe the declaration comes ready with the training's topics and comprehension questions, and the officer signs it on screen.
