Terms of use

Last updated: 14 October 2026 · version 2

Welcome to LomdaSafe, a platform for safety e-learning and training for workers, operated by [full legal name, company no. ______] (the "company"). Use of the website, the workers' app and the administration interface (together: the "platform") is subject to these terms. Entering the platform is acceptance of them.

The Hebrew text of these terms is the binding version; this English text is a translation. The privacy policy and the accessibility statement are part of these terms.

1. What the platform is

The platform lets an organization assign online safety trainings to its workers, lets workers complete them on their phones in their own language, and lets the organization record who was trained, when and with which signature, and issue certificates. The platform is a tool for managing training. It does not replace the safety officer, their judgement, or the employer's duties under occupational safety law.

2. Who uses it, and with what responsibility

An "organization" is the customer that registered for the platform — an employer or someone acting for it. The organization is responsible for the actions of the administrators it appointed, for the accuracy of the worker details it entered, for inviting only workers it is entitled to train, and for obtaining the workers' consent to the provision of their details where the law requires it.

A "worker" is a person the organization assigned a training to. The worker undertakes to complete the training personally, to confirm correct details at its end and to sign personally. Confirming and signing in another person's name is a breach of these terms and may be an offence.

A user account is personal. Do not pass a password, a sign-in code or an invitation link to anyone else. Report any unauthorised use to the organization's administrator at once.

3. Training content and its approval

The trainings in the platform's library were written from professional sources and translated into nine languages. The content is written and corrected by the company's content team and its safety officer; every change is kept as a draft and reaches workers and administrators only once it has been checked and published, and the platform records who approved a training's content and when. Nevertheless, the responsibility for the training content fitting the workplace, its hazards and the duties that apply to the employer rests with the organization and its safety officer. The organization's administrators can read every training in full, including the correct answers, before assigning it, and ask the company for corrections.

The translations were made with care but are not certified translations. In the event of a contradiction, the Hebrew text of a training prevails.

An organization may give the company trainings, videos and pictures of its own, which the company uploads for it. The organization declares that it holds the rights in them and that they do not infringe the rights of any third party or the law.

4. The certificate and what it attests

A certificate attests that the worker named on it completed the online training, answered the comprehension questions, confirmed their details and signed, on the date and in the language written on it. It does not attest practical competence unless the organization separately recorded a supervisor's practical sign-off. The certificate's validity is set for each training according to the law's refresher requirements — usually one year — and is printed on it; a later change of the validity does not alter certificates already issued.

The verification page the QR code on the certificate leads to shows whoever scans it the first name and the initial of the last name, the organization's name and the state of the trainings assigned to the worker — and nothing more. It is no substitute for the organization's own check of the worker's competence.

5. Plans, subscription and payment

The platform is offered in three plans — Free, Pro and Plant — whose contents are set out on the website. A paid plan is bought for a period of one month, six months or a year. A subscription does not renew automatically; at the end of the period the organization decides whether to renew.

When a subscription period ends without renewal, the platform becomes read-only for everyone in the organization: workers cannot be added, trainings cannot be assigned or progressed and reports cannot be filed, but every record and certificate already created stays accessible to the organization and its workers. A worker does not lose a certificate they earned because their employer stopped paying. An unsettled payment does not stop the service by itself; the service continues until the period ends or the company cancels it.

Prices, payment terms and billing dates are set in the quote or order between the organization and the company. The company stores no credit card details; online payment, when offered, is made through an external payment provider under its terms.

The free plan is limited in the number of workers, administrators and trainings, as set out on the website, and does not include job roles, reminders or report export. A subscription period may also be limited in the number of workers added during it, as set out in the order.

6. Prohibited use

The platform must not be used to:

  • Upload content that is not yours, harmful, offensive or unlawful content, or malicious code.
  • Attempt to access another organization's information, another person's account, or parts you are not authorised for.
  • Disrupt the service, bypass rate limits or security measures, or overload the servers.
  • Copy, reproduce or distribute the trainings, videos or translations in the platform's library outside it, except with the company's written consent.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its design, its code, the trainings in its library, the translations, the presenter characters and the LomdaSafe mark are the property of the company or of those who licensed them to it. The organization and its workers are permitted to use the platform for its purpose only, for the subscription term.

Content the organization uploaded remains its property. The organization grants the company a licence to store it, show it to the organization's workers and process it as far as operating the service requires.

Training records and certificates are the organization's documentation. The organization may view and print them at any time, including each worker's inspector file, and, on plans that include export, download them as a file.

8. Availability and support

The company aims at continuous availability but does not guarantee it. There may be downtime for maintenance, upgrades and faults at sub-processors. Planned downtime is announced in advance where possible. The company works to fix faults within a reasonable time.

An error message that cannot be fixed from the screen shows a reference number. Quote it when contacting support; it lets the event be found without giving any further details.

9. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is. The company is not liable for the consequences of a training not being completed, of training content the organization approved or uploaded, or of reliance on a certificate issued on the basis of incorrect details entered. Compliance with the employer's duties under occupational safety law — including the scope, frequency and documentation of training — is the organization's responsibility alone.

In any event, the company's total liability towards an organization, on any ground, shall not exceed the amount the organization paid the company in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

The organization may stop using the platform at any time. The company may suspend or terminate the access of a user or organization that breached these terms, after notice, and without notice where the breach endangers the service or other users.

On termination the organization may export its records. Deletion of the organization's database is done at its request and subject to retention duties in law, as set out in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

The company may update these terms. Organizations are notified of a material change at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction in any matter concerning the platform.
