Accessibility statement

Last updated: 24 October 2026 · last accessibility audit: 24 October 2026

LomdaSafe is committed to making its service accessible to people with disabilities — workers, administrators and enquirers alike — in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 part 1 for web content accessibility, which adopts the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA with its national changes.

This statement covers the lomdasafe.com website, the workers' app and the administration interface.

What has been made accessible

On 24 October 2026 the three parts of the service were checked against WCAG 2.1 level AA, which includes every requirement of IS 5568, and the findings were fixed. Among other things:

  • Full keyboard navigation on every screen, including a whole training — reading the steps, answering the questions, the confirmation and the signature; a "skip to content" link at the top of every page and a clear focus indicator.
  • Screen-reader support: one main heading per screen and a heading for every section, a label on every field, menus and checkboxes with a role and a state, status and error messages announced in place, and a description on every icon.
  • Colour contrast at level AA in both colour themes (light and dark), and fields with a distinguishable edge.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 pixels, and layouts that fit a phone and text enlarged to 200% with no horizontal scrolling.
  • Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting, and a pause button on every text that changes by itself.
  • Trainings in nine languages, including right-to-left Hebrew and Arabic; the language of every passage is marked for the screen reader, and the text is resizable.
  • Every answer in a training is described in words, never by colour alone, and every training status has a shape as well as a colour.
  • Wherever a signature is asked for, the name can be typed instead of drawn.
  • A warning five minutes before the sign-in expires, and progress saved after every step of a training.

What is not yet accessible

The training videos do not yet have captions or transcripts, and the pictures inside training steps have a title but not a full text description. The infrastructure for captions, transcripts and descriptions is in place and the texts will be written progressively. The presenter character reads out the text of the step, which appears in full on the screen above it, and can be hidden. Anyone who needs a text alternative to a video or a picture is asked to contact us, and we will provide one.

If you encounter any other difficulty, we would like to know and fix it.

How it was checked

The audit used automated tools (axe-core 4.10) over 36 screens in both colour themes and two screen sizes, a manual keyboard check of every screen and of a whole training, and a review of the browser's accessibility tree — what a screen reader receives. A test with a dedicated screen reader (NVDA, VoiceOver) has not yet been carried out; a screen-reader user who meets a difficulty is asked to report it to us.

The service is built for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and phone.
