Safety e-learning
Refresher training for crane operators and operators of other lifting machines
The annual refresher for crane operators — mainly overhead bridge cranes and gantry cranes — and for operators of other lifting machines: what lifting machines and lifting accessories are, who may operate them, periodic inspections and inspection reports, working out the weight of a load, the centre of gravity and the stability of the load, slings and the angle of their legs, crane signals, work instructions for operating a bridge crane, faults and maintenance, physical, chemical and ergonomic risks, and learning from work accidents. It is given under the Israeli Work Safety Ordinance [New Version], 1970, the Work Safety (Crane Operators, Operators of Other Lifting Machines and Signallers) Regulations, 1992, the Work Safety (Personal Protective Equipment) Regulations, 1997, and the Organisation of Labour Inspection (Provision of Information and Training of Workers) Regulations, 1999, which require the training to be repeated at least once a year.

- Goes through it step by step. Every topic is followed by a question, and every answer by an explanation. Nobody fails.
- Signs on screen and receives a work certificate with an expiry date. The safety officer sees on the dashboard who has finished and who has not.
The safety officer's declaration
To train by e-learning, the workplace's safety officer reviews the module and declares that it suits the workers, under regulation 3(a)(2) of the Organisation of Labour Inspection (Provision of Information and Training of Workers) Regulations. In LomdaSafe the declaration comes ready with the training's topics and comprehension questions, and the officer signs it on screen.
