Safety training in the Assembly Department

The annual safety training for workers of the assembly department: the department's main hazards and the mandatory prevention measures — work at height and ladders, machines and guards, hand tools and sharp objects, laser radiation, electricity, lifting loads and ergonomics. It is given under the Israeli Organisation of Labour Inspection (Provision of Information and Training of Workers) Regulations, 1984, and the Safety at Work (Occupational Hygiene and Safety of Workers with Laser Radiation) Regulations, 2005.

  1. Gets a link by SMS, WhatsApp or e-mail and opens it on their phone — nothing to install.
  2. Goes through it step by step. Every topic is followed by a question, and every answer by an explanation. Nobody fails.
  3. Signs on screen and receives a work certificate with an expiry date. The safety officer sees on the dashboard who has finished and who has not.

To train by e-learning, the workplace's safety officer reviews the module and declares that it suits the workers, under regulation 3(a)(2) of the Organisation of Labour Inspection (Provision of Information and Training of Workers) Regulations.
